Professor Riaz Khan

Professor Riaz Khan qualified from Guys Hospital in London, and completed his orthopaedic training in Cambridge. He undertook a fellowship in Perth, Western Australia, before returning there as a consultant in 2005 where he has been practicing ever since.  He operates out of Hollywood Private Hospital and St John of God Geraldton Hospital.

Riaz holds a courtesy faculty appointment as Professor of Material Science and Engineering in the School of Material Science and Engineering at the University of North Texas, USA and is also Adjunct Professor in the School of Science at Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia. He is a Surgeon Scientist who has published over 70 peer reviewed journal articles and has been awarded over AUD$1 million in research grant funding.  He has delivered over 50 invited presentations to learned societies and serves as a reviewer for The Bone and Joint Journal (BJJ) and the Journal of Arthroplasty.
